Honda TLR 200

I've always loved the look of the TLR so was always on the look out for one to restore one day.

One came up on Facebook in 2022 from a guy in Surrey, had a bit of money at the time so took a chance and drove down to Surrey, lucky for me it was a lot better in real life than in the pictures he sent me. Fired it up and all good, so I bought it and took it home.

The intention was to restore and modernise it a bit and may be do some long distance trials which is why I wanted a road registered one.

Put it in the garage and waited for the right time to start on it, sadly it was not to be as I ended up getting divorced, nothing to do with the bike of course!

Moved to a much smaller house with no garage so it had to go in a storage container. The plan was to build a big shed and then get it back and start on it however an opportunity to buy a Honda Dominator came up and it was too good to miss, a real favourite of mine, so I bought it.

Can't do two projects so the TLR has to go. It's in pretty good condition as you can see, has brand new shocks, chain and sprockets, carb and air filter. I bought a quick action throttle but it's still in the box!

Needs a bit of restoration but it's all there and all original, probably still on original tyres as it's very low mileage. It was imported in 2021 and is on an 1983 plate.

Currently with a mate of mine who restores Honda XL600LMs, for him to recommission it after storage, as he has all the gear at his place in Essex.

Can bring it back to Suffolk if it's nearer.
